The VAS project is led by Associate Professor Peter Dahlhaus, Centre for eResearch and Digital Innovation, Federation University Australia, Mt Helen Campus, Ballarat VIC.

The project is supported by the Cooperative Research Centre for High Performance Soils (Soil CRC) whose activities are funded by the Australian Government's Cooperative Research Centre Program.

VAS is part of Program 2 of the Soil CRC which is led by Program Leader Associate Professor Nathan Robinson, Centre for eResearch and Digital Innovation, Federation University Australia, Mt Helen Campus, Ballarat VIC.
